Today’s adventure brings us to an usual destination : Botswana.
Botswana is a country of located in Southern Africa. It is surrounded by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia and is known as one of the most stable democratic country in Africa. Botswana is the largest producer of diamonds in the world, enabling its inhabitants to have a pretty good life. This mainly dry country is sparsely populated, leaving a great amount of land to wilderness.
Tourism in Botswana is another large source of income for the country. You will be able to go on incredible safaris and see a large variety of animals and flora. Botswana promotes green and sustainable tourism. Botswana and the University of Botswana worked together on the BIOKAVANGO project, which completed the development of the first Botswana Ecotourism Certification System.

For successful horseback riding vacation in Botswana, you should probably go to the Royal Tree Lodge. It is located in Maun in Northern Botswana and is situated on a private reserve on the banks of the Thamalakane River. The lodge owns horses that are specially trained to keep the riders safe in the lunar-like bush. David and Robyn Foot offer riding safaris for novice riders to advanced. You will get very close to the incredible Botswana wildlife and ride in preserved landscapes.
